Sexy (Aesthetically pleasing) Ads / layouts don’t always work, in fact most of the time they fail.
Most of the best designers in the world could not design successful DR creative. Designers find it hard to design for something that has to back out to specific a CPA or CPL. The block comes when you build for an action and not for aesthetics. In the online world our creative is A/B tested, measured, optimized, multivariant tested and them optimized again….. Then Repeat.

Project Management

When a project is being managed by someone other than you there are certain things you can count on.

1. If things go wrong prepare to have a finger pointed at you.
2. You will never get the assets you need.
3. Reasonable time to complete the project does not exist.
4. When you stay late the project manager is out @ closing time.

Take those rules and multiply them by 100x if the person has very little experience. It get’s even worse if people who have no idea what you do get pulled into the loop.

Reporting been down for any one else?
I haven’t been able to pull reports since last Wed. Maybe thats what i get for relying on a beta version eh?

As if my life isn’t complicated enough. I am dealing with stupidity on a regular basis lately. Simple people creating complicated issues.
