The block comes when you build for an action and not for aesthetics. In the online world our creative is A/B tested, measured, optimized, multivariant tested and them optimized again….. Then Repeat.

When a project is being managed by someone other than you there are certain things you can count on.

1. If things go wrong prepare to have a finger pointed at you.
2. You will never get the assets you need.
3. Reasonable time to complete the project does not exist.
4. When you stay late the project manager is out @ closing time.

Take those rules and multiply them by 100x if the person has very little experience. It get’s even worse if people who have no idea what you do get pulled into the loop.
